The Friday Harbor/San Juan Island MG tour is on for Thursday the 11th. We will be taking the 9:05 am ferry from Anacortes, and returning on the 3:45 pm ferry.
If you would like to join us, you will need to get ferry reservations for trip. Right now, the reservations are probably unavailable, but on Tuesday morning at 7:00 am there will be 30% of the ferry capacity added to the reservation system.
Our plan is to circle most of the island, with several stops along the way, including Roche Harbor, English Camp, San Juan State park and Lime Kiln Point, arriving back at the ferry dock at about 3 PM to allow a little time for browsing the shops, ice cream, etc.. We will likely have time to eat our picnic lunches (be sure to bring one!) at English camp or at the park.
We need to be in line at the terminal by 8:35 am, so we are planning to leave our home by 8:10 am. Several folks will be meeting at our home (1606 34th Street in Anacortes) at 8:00 am so we can caravan down to the ferry dock.  Bring your State Parks Discovery Pass (a ‘Handicapped” card works, too) , and your National Parks pass – If you have them. If you don’t have the state parks pass, the cost of a day pass is $10 per car.
