MBMGCC Christmas Party December 7th

The annual holiday “Pot Luck,” party will be held Saturday December 7th at 1:00pm at a banquet room within Fairhaven Park in Bellingham. The club will provide a large honey roasted ham, however, please bring a main course or salad or desert as well as your own dishes and drinks. The Parks restricts alcohol consumption so no booze please! The gift exchange has always been a fun and entertaining activity and this year will be no different. Please bring a gift with a value less than ten Dollars if you would like to participate in this event. We have the room from 12:30 to 3:30 pm so should plan to begin at 1:00 pm. (We must have everything cleaned up and be out at 3:30.)

Driving Directions to Fairhaven Park

Take exit 250 off of I-5, go west 1.3 miles to the second stoplight and Turn left on highway 11. Bear left at the stoplight and continue onto Chuckanut Drive. Fairhaven Park will be a few hundred yards on the Left. Park to the right as you enter Fairhaven Park and the meeting Room is on your left.

Election for new club officers

Our MBMGCC needs new leadership from our members to keep this club active and viable. Several members have served as officers and have done an awesome job, however it’s the same people serving as officers to keep the club alive. I believe we need to be a more diverse group and share the work and leadership with other members within our club. We desperately need new blood with vision and direction to keep the club viable and heading in the right direction.

Now is the time to step forward and serve the club as an officer. Please volunteer to run for a position. The MBMGCC needs help in all areas. If you cannot commit to an elected position, consider organizing a driving tour or tech session. Are you willing to help out, but not sure what’s involved with serving as an officer or running a tour? Well, our pervious officers will be more than happy to assist and give guidance! It doesn't have too time consuming at all. We just need others step to the plate and volunteer whatever they can to our club. Give back to the club and keep us active, strong and viable through out the driving season. So if you are interested in one of the offices give a call or e mail me ASAP . PLEASE!
