Editor's CornerNot a huge lot of activity in November. I did get and email from Barney Gaylord of the Chicagoland MGB club. He had some helpful tips for our website and was responding to my correction request for our club listing at his club's listing of US MB clubs. I also received an email from the chair of the NAMGBR who was updating us on this organizations officers and requesting copies of our newsletters. The Ladner-Bellingham Run - by Frank TravisJust as we left our driveway at 7:00 AM it started to rain! When we arrived
at the truck crossing there was only one gate open, but only one car ahead.
The inspector quickly passed us but held the rain back! The drivers meeting
was held right on time, however it was the smallest number of British
vehicles that we have ever seen for this event - probably only around
35 actually participated and we think that our 1952 TD was the oldest!
Three MGBs came from the Seattle area. The route to Bellingham covered
a few new streets in Surrey and White Rock and as soon as we crossed the
border the rain started! We stopped for regrouping at various points along
the way and had a "pit Stop" at the Burger King in Blaine. The
tour ended with lunch at the Sensa Restaurant. Events - by Tom NoelLooks like the Christmas Party is a go for the 11th of Dec. at 6:00 pm.
