Merry Christmas

To all MBMGCC members. To all of you who missed the Christmas Party on December 7th, you missed a great one! The food was excellent with an overabundance of desserts and the gift exchange was enjoyed by all. I would like to lend a special thank you to Frank and Margaret Travis, who arranged for the rental of the building and the excellent ham and to Francie Jacobson who made the beautiful centerpieces and then gave them as gifts to the ladies after the festivities.

Special recognition for Bob Earl; everyone appreciated his driving his 1938 VA Tickford (take notes, Cathie; I wouldn't mind finding one of these under the Christmas tree!) Now to the Christmas party on a blustery December day. For those of you who did not make it, may this Holiday Season bring you the joy of family and a spark for the MG in the New Year!

The Christmas Party saw out final meeting of 2002 and the election of officers for 2003.

Our next meeting will be a winter tour and annual planning meeting in early February. You will receive specific notification in late January.

I want to personally thank Bryce Cook for doing such a wonderful job on our newsletter. The majority of you received it by email. This has been great as it really saves money, time and labor. Please do not hesitate to send any articles or info to Bryce for publication. Please do keep him informed of your correct email addresses. If you require a copy via the US Postal Service, please inform him. Thanks again to Bryce!

Finally, a thank you goes to Sharon Lee, our outgoing Secretary/Treasurer. Hopefully she will have more time to join us in her MG in the coming year.

I am off to make out my MG Christmas Want List for Santa Cathie (ex. VA, TF, garage, $$$$).
